The "media" cheered that President Trump changed his position and approached Ukraine tonight, and that he called Russia a "paper tiger."

I read his words completely differently.

It seems like an American turnaround, but there is no turnaround here, and Trump is transferring responsibility for Ukraine's defense exclusively to Europe and NATO. In other words, he is removing himself from the war in Europe, abandoning them to their fate. "Europe will help Ukraine regain its territory," he said. Not only that, he is also obliging them to fight Russia, the alleged "paper tiger," to shoot down invading Russian planes, and get into trouble.

There were no hints in his words of further support for Ukraine or that he would punish the Russians. His only commitment is to continue selling weapons to the Europeans.. and may Allah help you..
