WAR UPDATE

Yesterday, we lost 6 IDF Heroes in two different attacks, including 68-year-old IDF reservist Yitzchak Harish. He was murdered in cold blood by a Jordanian soldier, a driver coming through the Jordanian border crossing delivering humanitarian aid into Gaza. Let that sink in. A soldier from a country we're supposedly at peace with, using the guise of humanitarian aid to get close to our soldiers and kill them. Aid, the very thing the world insists we must allow, again used as a weapon against us.

Let me start with this: Yes, many IDF reservists like Yitzchak, many, continue to serve long after they’re officially retired at 40. I'm one of them. Not because we’re bored. Not because we have something to prove. But because we believe that wearing the uniform of the IDF is not merely a duty, but it’s a privilege. It’s a sacred honor to defend our people in our land, especially after two thousand years of being defenseless in exile. So even though we could have stopped showing up years ago for reserve service, we continue voluntarily.

Yitzchak didn’t have to be there. But he showed up. Like thousands of others. Because we have 2,000+ years of examples of what happens when Jews aren’t able to show up to defend ourselves.

What happened at the Allenby Bridge border Crossing is a reminder that terror is not confined to Gaza or Jenin or Rafah or Jerusalem or Lebanon or Syria. It doesn’t respect borders or peace treaties. It comes from an ideology, a 1,400+ year genocidal ideology of jihad that teaches children from birth to hate Jews and glorify murder. This terrorist was in the service of the Jordanian army and drove a humanitarian truck. That’s what we’re up against.

So yes, we have checkpoints throughout Judea & Samaria that the world condemn us for. No, we don’t want them. I don’t wake up in morning having to stand in the blazing sun checking every Palestinian Authority car that drives by, wondering which smiling driver might try to kill an innocent Jew. But it’s necessary.

Just yesterday, after my shift ended, two terrorists were caught at our checkpoint in the Judean hills. You didn’t read about it in the international press, but that’s two massacres that didn’t happen.

When people complain about checkpoints, about “occupation,” about security measures, I tell them: your problem isn’t with checkpoints. Your problem is with the jihad. With the modern-day Amalek that teaches death instead of life.

Peace will come, but not through removing checkpoints, or another round of failed negotiations or delusional coexistence experiments. It will come when people who are raised to kill us live somewhere else, far away from us. That’s why Trump’s emigration plan for Gaza makes sense, and it must be extended to Judea and Samaria as well. If peace is ever going to be possible, then this toxic, hate-fueled ideology must be removed from our midst. And if anyone thinks that a 1,400+ year genocidal religious ideology can be erased through “education”, then I have a Brooklyn Bridge to see them. They should just look at how Germany, France, Sweden, Britain etc are quickly turning into Muslim countries where equal rights and freedom will slowly be stripped away from non-Muslims. That’s the same Muslim ideology, it’s about taking over the world in the name of Allah. That’s is the ultimate purpose of Islam, that not enough of our political, organizational or religious leaders have the guts to say publicly.

Returning to Israel…

The day we no longer have to guard every crossing, search every bag, and inspect every aid truck, that’s the day we’ll know peace has finally come. That will be the day we can remove every last checkpoint, because there will no longer be anyone left trying to murder us.

Until then, we check. We defend. And we show up, just like Yitzchak Harish did.

Yehi zichro baruch. May the memory of all 6 IDF heroes killed yesterday be a blessingand a wake-up call.

We will win this war and we will implement Trump’s Gaza emigration plan, and extend it to Judea & Samaria as well.

Avi Abelow’s Pulse of Israel,

It won’t happen as soon as we need, but it eventually will happen. Because there is no other option against the Amalek enemy we are up against.

Am Yisrael chai!!!
